Twitter is now allowing all Android and iOS users to record Twitter Spaces. This was announced Thursday January 13, 2022. Users can now choose to record a Space when they are setting up a Space and the recording will be available for playback within 30 days after the Space has ended. Users who belong to the Space being recorded will see an icon at the top of the Space, letting them know.

Twitter Spaces was first introduced in October but was limited to users with 600 followers or more. Twitter promised to work steadily on the feature to support all users. However, users still can’t host a Space from the web, but can join them.
